    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By creating an account, accessing or using the Lumyf platform ("Service"), you declare that you have read, understood and fully agreed with these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any clause, you must not use the Service.

    2. Service Description

    Lumyf is an online platform that lets users create, edit, save and export professional resumes optimized for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) systems, through ready-made templates, scoring analysis and supporting tools.

    3. Account Registration

    To use specific features, you must create an account with truthful, complete and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities performed in your account. The user must be at least 14 years old.

    4. Acceptable Use

    By using Lumyf, you agree not to:

    • Enter false, offensive, illegal information or that violates third-party rights;
    • Try to circumvent, copy, decompile or interfere with the platform;
    • Use the Service for fraudulent purposes, spam or any unlawful activity;
    • Share your account with third parties or resell access without authorization.

    5. Intellectual Property

    All platform content — including brand, logo, layout, templates, texts, code and design — is the exclusive property of Lumyf and protected by copyright laws. Content entered by the user (personal data, experiences, education) remains their property, granting Lumyf only the license required to provide the Service.

    6. Payments, Cancellation and Refunds

    Some Lumyf features require a paid plan. Prices, billing frequency and payment methods are clearly stated before purchase. When you subscribe to a paid plan, the following rules apply:

    • Free trial: when a plan includes a trial period, its length is shown at checkout. Your card is requested upfront, but the first charge only happens when the trial ends. If you cancel before then, you will not be charged.
    • Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and are charged to the same payment method until you cancel.
    • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time, with no penalty, under Settings → Manage billing or through our support channels. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period already paid, and no further charges will be made.
    • Right of withdrawal: in accordance with article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw within 7 (seven) days of the first charge and receive a full refund of the amount paid, with no reason required. Just request it by email at contato@lumyf.com or via our support WhatsApp. If the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence grants a longer period, that period applies.
    • After this period, periods already started are not refunded, in full or pro rata, except in the case of a verified technical failure of the Service that prevents use of the paid features and is not resolved by our support team.

    Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for the amount to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer or bank.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    Lumyf is a supporting tool and does not guarantee hiring, interviews or job approval. ATS analysis is based on technical and statistical rules but does not replace recruiter judgment. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the generated content.

    8. Suspension and Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. Users may close their account at any time by requesting deletion through our support channels.

    9. Changes to the Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once published on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

    10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The user's place of residence is the elected jurisdiction for resolving any disputes.

    11. Job Listings and Selection Processes

    The Lumyf jobs section aggregates opportunities published by third parties (companies, recruiters and partners such as Adzuna). Lumyf acts solely as an aggregator and technological intermediary and is NOT the employer, recruiter or party responsible for the selection process. By using the jobs section, you acknowledge and agree that:

    • Lumyf is NOT responsible for the accuracy, currency, legality or quality of job listings published by third parties — they may contain errors, be outdated, closed or fraudulent;
    • Lumyf does NOT guarantee employer response, interview scheduling, approval in the selection process, hiring or any outcome resulting from the application;
    • Lumyf is NOT responsible for the duration, stages, evaluation methods, requirements, decisions or conduct of employers and recruiters during the selection process;
    • Lumyf is NOT responsible for scams, fraud, fake job listings, phishing, undue payment requests, fees, requests for bank details, leakage or misuse of personal data by third-party advertisers — it is the user's duty to verify the legitimacy of the company before providing information or attending interviews;
    • A LEGITIMATE JOB NEVER CHARGES THE CANDIDATE. Be suspicious and DO NOT make payments, deposits, course purchases, kits, uniforms, administrative fees or any financial transfer requested as a condition for application, interview or hiring. If suspicious, report to the competent authorities;
    • When applying, the user may be redirected to external sites of the employer or partners and will then be subject to the terms and policies of those platforms, beyond Lumyf's control;
    • The user is solely responsible for the information sent in their application, the content of their resume and the decision to participate in any selection process.

    Lumyf has no employment, commercial or corporate relationship with advertising employers, except where expressly stated. Under no circumstances will Lumyf be liable for direct, indirect damages, lost profits, wasted time, frustrated hiring expectations or any loss arising from selection processes, scams or third-party conduct related to displayed jobs.
